We're checking in with a quick update on the BackerKit Status, Surveys, and Project Status... 

BackerKit

We're currently finishing the set-up of BackerKit (your Pledge manager). Once the BackerKit team does their review and gives us the thumbs up, we'll be sending out our smoke test. This goes out to a small portion of backers as a final test to make sure everything is 100%. If so, we'll be sending out the rest of the surveys. We're hoping to have this happen by the end of this week, but if not, it'll be by the start of next week.

Surveys

For those unaware of the process, this will be where you provide your shipping information, as well as select your rewards and add any additional add-ons if you wish. This is what will be sent out the end of this week/start of next week.

Project Status

We're closely approaching the end of finalizing the elements of the game that will be contained within the INVASION Box and the Revenge Pack. Most art is finalized with a few exceptions. We'll also be passing off the rulebook and cards to an editor for review. So currently, we're probably 2 - 3 weeks out from sending everything off to pre-press :)

Quick Update: BackerKit & Add-Ons

Hey Slashers!

We had a few messages and e-mails over the weekend from backers concerning the Revenge Pack Add-On, etc. So we thought we'd provide a quick update to try to clarify some things for folks.

BackerKit

Kickstarter will not be finishing processing peoples payments for a week or so. Because of that, we will delay the launch of BackerKit as we need to have the most up to date information concerning orders before sending out the survey. Once we receive an update from Kickstarter, we'll launch BackerKit and send you all invites. Once you receive the invite, you'll have 3 weeks from the day we send it out to finalize your order and pay for your shipping and anything additional you add to your order.

Revenge Packs / Add-Ons

We keep receiving messages concerning orders not having the Revenge Pack included. Please be aware, as we mentioned during the campaign, the $12 you put towards the Revenge Pack will be a credit when BackerKit opens. You'll simply select your pledge in BackerKit, then in the add-ons section select the Revenge Pack or any other add-ons you wanted and you'll be charged nothing additional, as your credit will cover it. You'll even be able to upgrade your pledge to a TOADS pack if you want to or add any other items we make available during the post-Kickstarter portion of the campaign.

Again, it'll be a week or two before we start this part of the process, so for now we'll have no new news until then. We'll send out an update once the BackerKit / Survey portion of the project begins :)

THE INVASION IS HERE - Funded! & What's Next?

We're funded. All stretch goals unlocked. It doesn't get much better than that. We cannot thank you all enough for the positivity and dedication you've shown this project since day one. It really makes us feel the love for the game and continually inspires us to create new content. So again, THANK YOU!

So the obvious question is... "what's next?" Well there's a few things...

BackerKit

First, the team will be setting up our BackerKit. This is where you'll finalize your pledges, choose t-shirt sizes, add any additional items you want, provide your name for the rulebook, provide your shipping address, and pay for your shipping. You'll probably receive the invite within the next week. We will send another update when surveys go out. You will have 3 weeks from when you receive your BackerKit Survey to complete it. That's right, we're moving fast this time in order to make our release date for the game, and therefore we'll need your help in getting quantities finalized and names for the rulebook provided.

We will also be sending out an e-mail to our International Backers interested in acquiring Invasion and other Mixtape Massacre products with the information needed to get in on the fun.

It is very important during these next few months to follow and pay attention to these updates as this is where our communications concerning the Post-Kickstarter process will take place. And our team is pretty keen on keeping updates to a minimum, and only sending them WHEN IT'S NECESSARY or contains new information.

Print Prep

The other thing we'll be doing over the next month is finalizing the game. We'll be finalizing art, proof-reading all cards and the rulebook, and working with our manufacturer to get everything ready for printing. We will be sure to share with you all some of the process as well as more previews as we finalize art and receive sample copies of the game.

But until then... its Friday... INVASION is funded... cheers everyone!

We're now in the FINAL 24 HOURS of the campaign.

This is a quick / reminder update mostly for new backers, but also legacy backers.

Currently, all stretch goals are unlocked and we've added a BONUS STRETCH GOAL for these final days. You can read more about that here at this link/update.

We'll also want to direct any NEW BACKERS to this link/update to answer any questions you might have about pledges or add-ons.

Other than that we'll see you all at the end :)

Final Days / Bonus Stretch Goal

With the final days of the Kickstarter ahead, we thought we'd try to have a little fun with this last week. The team talked over the weekend about a bonus stretch goal. Something that if acheived we would add it to all copies of the expansion. And so, if by Friday before 10am (May 15th), if we hit $40K, we'll be adding an additional supply card to the game (raising the count to 11) with a pretty cool ability that will make the player who gets it really happy... and everyone else playing will probably be pissed off.

So if you've been thinking of adding any of the add-ons like the Revenge Pack to your pledge or upping your pledge to the T.O.A.D.S Membership, now would be the time to do so.

This Kickstarter has been awesome, and we're really happy with all the craziness happening right now that so many of you showed up day one and have kept the excitement and fun going until the end. With less than 4 days left, let's finish strong!
